LABELLING OF BIOCIDAL PRODUCTS

  • Biocidal Products will have to be classified, packaged and labelled in accordance with CHIP, but they will also have to show:
    • the identity of every active substance;
    • the authorisation number;
    • liquid/powder/solid etc.;
    • The uses and instructions for use including dose rate, time needed for effect;
    • first aid, adverse effects, precautions during treatment and in treated areas;
    • disposal including packaging;
    • batch number and expiry date.
