FURTHER IMPLICATIONS

  • Products will have to be withdrawn and reformulated if:
    • active substances fail their review;
    • the specific substance use is no longer permitted;
    • the level of active in a product exceeds the new concentration conditions;

  • Products will themselves become subject to review once the active substance has completed its review.

  • During the 10 year transition period, some biocidal products will be authorised whilst others will still be awaiting review. Advantages/disadvantages?
